Very concerned, continuing to watch closely

Why does history keep repeating itself? I experienced on the ground oppressive policies forced on small communities in the 70's and 80's.
When will politicians whose role is to SERVE the people of all Australia understand that the process is paramount to the effectiveness of the outcome. How much does it take to be respectful and inclusive?
Elaine Telford, Women's Reconciliation Network, NSW, 26th October 2007
I am concerned about the political motivation for the Federal Action and believe the best opportunity for action is working in conjunction with communities, not through media attention-grabbing direct action from Canberra.
Robert Nagel,WA, 26th October 2007
What the federal government has done and continues to do is shameful and embarrassing, and most importantly, unjust.
Katrina Jaworski, SA, 26th October 2007
I have extensive indigenous family in NT and NSW. Please help stop this travesty of justice. Some of my family have just begun to make a living out of their eco tourism in thier homelands and now it's open slather to the likes of Paris Hilton.... shame .

It makes no logical sense to intervene the way the government has. Sure things need to change but not like this. History is suppose to teach us not be repeated in this way.
Penelope Grace, NSW, 19th October 2007
Go sisters. Go with pride and all our support. Let us know what we can do. This is wrong and we as women know this. Anglo sisters behind you.
