I saw the "4 Corners" program on the intervention, and it illustrated what we already knew; that this is yet another badly thought out, heavy handed excuse for foisting the Federal government's wishes on a community. It's obvious they want control of Aboriginal lands so that they can mine for uranium and dump nuclear waste. In the process they are happy to destroy any self respect that might be quietly growing amongst our indigenous people. Send John and Janette to live up there for a few months, it's just like Kirribilli except for the red dust.
