Parts of Australia were officially invaded by Australian military and police forces in 2007, in an act by the Commonwealth government that was essentially about delivering proper community services and protections, the very issues communities have been requesting through their own underfunded agencies for a long time...are non-Aboriginal communities ever similarly invaded, or are the services and protections simply provided as a matter of 'being'. "2007, Australia invades itself, to assist itself".
